Okay, let's be honest here, I'm not a huge fan of worms...but I must say that waking up early is quite an amazing feeling. Now, many of you may be saying "Whaaaat? Are you crazy?" and well, that last question is up for debate. But seriously now...getting an early start on the day feels amazing!
This morning husby and I decided to wake up at 5:45am to go to the gym. Every ounce of my fleshly being was working against me when that alarm clock went off...but when my mind finally won and I got out of bed, I knew it was the right thing to do. After getting a good workout this morning I felt as fresh as a daisy.
And now, at 2pm (when I normally have my afternoon slump and feel like I need a 2 hour nap) I have more energy than I have had in a long time. Instead of taking a nap during my free time, I'm going to tackle my to-do list.
I think that all that stuff they say about exercise being good for you may just be true.
