Fall break was wonderful. Visiting family was wonderful. The only non-wonderful thing about Fall break was that it was over too soon.This past weekend I got a new jacket, and I'm oh-so-happy, because I've gotten to wear it for the past three days. It's actually been cool enough to wear a jacket! Autumn is finally here! (You
know...I think that Autumn is a much prettier word to describe this time of year than Fall. Why don't we use the prettier word more often?) I love experiencing all of the different seasons. Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter...they're all great, and they all provide us with a change in scenery so that we don't get too bored (that is, unless you live in Florida, or some other state that is season deprived).

I actually miss being season deprived. When we were in Texas there were two seasons, a really really hot summer and then really hot summer. I miss that. :)
I wish it had not been so dry this year as I love so much to see the autumn leaves in brilliant color.
I lived in Florida for about a year, and all we had there was rainy season and not rainy season. Christmas there did not feel like Christmas at all. I like seasons.
And yes, Coop, it would be nice if the leaves on the trees were a bit more brilliant. I've seen one or two really pretty ones, but that's about it.
It's been raining all week here in Cleveland. It makes me want to go and buy a pair of rain boots.
Tiff, my aunt Flossie used to say that "fall" was a sad time of the year for her because it reminded her of the fall of man. I vote for the word "autumn." Why not take a worldwide poll and make the results the official term for the season?
You know, I'm seriously considering getting one of these blogger things. Once again, you are using your powers to persuade me to join yet another online community. hahaha
